Your display should look perfect every night, not just install night
Anyone can hang lights in November. The difference is what happens on December 18th when a section goes dark two days before your party. With Midwest Holiday Lighting, you text us a photo and we come fix it, usually within a day, at no charge. That is included with every residential install, every season.
Because we use commercial-grade LED lines with replaceable bulbs and sealed sockets, repairs are fast: swap a bulb, reseat a connection, re-clip a line the wind lifted. And because we installed it, we know exactly how it was routed and where the power runs.
What Central Illinois winters do to Christmas lights
Between Thanksgiving and New Year's, a Champaign County roofline sees freezing rain, 40 mph prairie wind, a foot of snow sliding off the shingles and a dozen freeze-thaw cycles. Box-store strands fail under that. Our commercial lines hold up, and the maintenance program handles the rest: a clip that let go in a gust, a bulb that took a hit from sliding ice, a GFCI that tripped in a downpour.
We also do a mid-season drive-by on our routes. If we spot a dark section on a home we installed, we often fix it before the homeowner notices.
How to request a maintenance visit
Text or call (217) 851-1102 with your address and, if you can, a photo of the issue. We schedule you on the next route through your area, typically within one business day. There is no charge and no paperwork.
